STL Shop To Do CDV Delete - OR Fellow Member To Help Out In The STL Area
Hey guys,
Just as the title states, I'm trying to find a shop in the STL area that you would recommend to perform a CDV delete (swap out for the aftermarket one). OR....if someone in the STL area has done this and wouldn't mind helping me out that would work as well. Thanks! |

I'd contact Tom Bradley to see if he can help you out. I'd offer my help, but I'm in StL sparingly on the occasional weekend and I haven't done the CDV removal myself, so I wouldn't feel comfortable using someone else's 1er as a guinea pig!

Too bad you are not in Michigan or I could help you. It is an easy swap and only takes about 45 min. - most of the time is spent jacking the car up and removing the skid panel.

I've been planning on doing this mod, who did it for you?

I ended up going to Bimmers R Us on Kingshighway, north of Chippewa. Here's the site:
http://www.bimmersrus.com/ The main service guy is very knowledgeable. Car was out in about an hour. |

Thanks guys, would you say they're competent for something like AR dp's? FMIC is coming first in the near future but I'll do that myself, the dp's just look like hell after watching my friend do the Berk on his N55.

I bet either place would be able to do that, but since Kamal has extended experience with the Bavarian shop I would probably try them first.
