Front: 19 - 8.5 +45 ~ +48 (225/35-19) Rear: 19 - 9.0 +50 ~ +55 (255/30-19)

why dont you reccommend 235's up front?

It is not that we don't recommend it. Since the 225 and 255 combo is a "sure" fit without rubbing, we recommended that. As most would like the "hassle" free fitment.
For some tire brands like Falken, TOYO, Nitto, we can go with the 235 and 265 combo. And I think a member on here has the Michelin PS2, which may be another proven fit. Remeber, the beauty of these wheels is that they are custom and you can go with a wild set up, if you'd like. I personally would like to see a fender rolled, pulled, dropped to the ground "Hella Flush" 1er with stretched tires~~ but that's just me. These are just great wheels for the 1er~
