Question About Oil Leak After HPFP Replaced

A few days after having my HPFP replaced I noticed a small puddle of oil under the car. Does the HPFP use oil from the engine for lubrication? If so, could the leak be due to a bad seal on the HPFP? It looks like there's an O-ring where the pump mounts to the engine.

I just got the car back from the service center and the source of the leak was indeed a bad seal on the 0-ring that seals the HPFP to the engine. They cleaned up the surfaces and reinstalled it and the leak is supposedly fixed.
