Windy City BMW Autocross Pics
Here's some pics of today's Autocross school in Chicago.
It was a ton of fun and I look forward to the next event.

I hate that when I forget about the autocross event. See attached pics from my event last year. I wish I were there today as I'll bet you would have gotten an action shot of my car.
I will be at Road America next weekend with Windy City BMW CC for their track driving school. I'll get plenty of PICS and post them.

Sorry you missed it. I'm debating about going next weekend to Road America. hmmmmm. 2 days is a big commitment. I might still be able to go, I was discussing it today at autocross Gingerman Raceway has plenty of open track days, and Speed Trial has 2 schools a month all summer there. I like Autocross and will be there, but have the need for speed on a big track. I'll be going to Gingerman as much as possible. If you ever want to go, just look at their schedule and PM ME. Well, either way you have fun at Road America, maybe I'll see you there.

Waaay too much fun! Coming into that corner you are slowing from about 120 mph. The brakes held up great all weekend with no fading even with lap after lap of 120-110 HARD braking. I was really surprised. Oh BTW either I'm a faster driver or the 330i will run faster than an RX-8 on the track (think its the later since I'm a novice on the track driving skills).
