I have to apologize for not being on time with this. It turns out that the USPS delivery I was waiting for to get started was delayed due to the weather here. Many of the USPS stations were closed and due to reopen tomorrow. I'll keep youo updated as to when I'll be ready to start fabbing these up. Should be in the next 24 - 48 hours I think as long as USPS get it in gear.

Forget this,, see my post below........

Bad news jents, my welder is really acting up and I'm not going to invest in a new one. This has been nothing but problems out of the gate. So for now I'm going to take care of the sales I already committed too and put a hold on this for now.

Sorry, I really tried to help out you guys with a less expensive solution. Very disappointed.. Did not think my welder was going to give up on me.

Thanks for taking the time in trying to help us out with a low-cost, effective part.

Let me know if things get sorted out.

Well, I just went and did what I said I was not going to do. I went and purchased a Tig welder. So, give me about two weeks to learn some basics and get some nice welds and I'll be ready. If no one want's to wait, thats fine and I understand. This tig is a learning curve but the welds will be far better. I'll let everyone know when I'm ready to jump in with good tig welds. If no one want to buy a diff bracket from me, thats fine to.. As I said I do it for the forum and some fun for me. Between getting all the metal cut, drilled, prepping for weld, welding and paint, it take me three hours. So it does take time, I don't do this for a living ;-)

Thanks for everyone's understanding! Should have it by this weekend, then I get to play.

A good scrubbing prep pad and alcohol go a long way when working with tig. Also takes some time to get comfortable with the peddle modulation, proper gas flow, tungsten configuration (sharper the better obviously, close to 30 degree was always best for me) and brand, nozzle cup size, etc. Tig is definitely the way to go though. Have fun and good luck.

Edit, My welds have improved 10 fold with this new TIG welder so to cover shipping cost which I was eating, the price is now back to $115 shipped. Hope you guys understand.

I only have 2 days using a TIG and it does take allot of practice to make a show piece (and I'm a weekend worrier) . But, the only one's that's going to see this bracket is the ground, bugs and road kill.

So if you guys want me to make you one, just PM me and I'll send you my paypal email and then get started. I'm shipping out two tomorrow for two guys who helped me get the info I need for the large (6 speed) bracket. As soon as the paint drys I'll post a pick of the one I just finished.
