This is one of the earlier videos... The volume in this may be a little louder due to the lack of Cats... but it should be fairly similar.
Tone on the slip on might be a little better due to the resonating properties of the catalyst though. Take it for what it's worth. My apologies, the site won't let me embed this video for some reason. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=RfoJ14Exffw |

I don't think those two videos reflect the sound of the slip-on since they are full systems incl downpipes (loud!). The slip-on is just the last muffler so I wouldn't think it will transform the car into a 'beast' in terms of volume, but it should be noticable compared to stock with the wireless kit-option.

Not installed yet, should be arriving between Xmas and New Year. I will install first see what I think of the exhaust note. May decide to knock out bypass closure gate if it is a touch too quiet.

OOOPSSS. the noisemaker has arrived. Install is sheduled for next week friday.
At the same time my stock suspension wil benefit a light upgrade, namely JRZ rs1 dampers with Eibach pro kit springs. Talking about a christmas present, Yeah!!! |

Here I have recorded a Video with the Akrapovic slip-on exhaust with wireless-kit.
I have to say: When the valve is closed, the exhaust sound too silent! Whithout Wireless-Kit, a no go for me: Best regards, Flavush |

Open it sounds a bit louder than stock. But not too much, like the evolution. I can't say if the drone is still there, because it's not my car. I think you can eliminate the drone, when you change your midpipe (n54->n55) |

I dont think my slip on sounds anything like the video posted.
I do have an N55 midpipe without a resonator though. I will try to take a video clip and post it. |

Here are a couple of videos of my 1M with the Akra Slip-On w/ wireless system and Maddad midpipe. The first one shows the sound with the valve opened and closed and the second video shows the valve open inside an underpass.
Hope it helps, I just looove the sound!
