Wow, that's a run of bad luck. I had a run like that for a while back with my Porsche.

I'm sure any of the dealers like Bav, Tischer, etc would have similar donuts. I picked mine up from LeatherZ specifically due to their presence here in the past and they also had a cover for their donut.

Spare from 330 OK?

I am trading in my 2001 330Ci for a 135. Will the donut from the 330 fit the 135?

I am not 100% sure - but I think it will fit. The bolt pattern is the same. I think my wheel also has a ET30. I am gonna have to take a look.

You have this steel donut -->

Right?

Btw... I also found this spare tire kit. It doesn't come with a tire - you will have to get that from TireRack or who ever. But this is teh same alloy wheel that I have.

How did you secure the net on the front (forward) edge of the trunk? My trunk does not have any attachment hooks.

I just hook to the front of the trunk floor piece. You'll probably have to release the seat backs to get the hook in there.

Hey All, I've just changed my RFT's to non-RFT's Hankook V110 on my 135i, nice tyre so far. My concern was getting a flat so I've bought a small pump, Dynaplug and multi grips to pull ??? out of tyre. BUT still concerned I wanted a space saver and jack.
I bought a space saver from a BMW wrecker with a BMW jack and wheel brace, wheel came out of an E46. Paid $150.00 for an unused tyre and jack. Better than BMW or LeatherZ. Bought in Williamstown Melb.
I'm pretty sure it will fit, will test tonight. Just need to figure out how o secure it.
Thought I would share what I've done as I've saved a heap of money.

I tried last night to see if the space saver would fit, I struggled to get the wheel nuts loose and after 30 mins of trying finally the buggers loosened.

The jack I got which is out of an E46 fits perfect under the 1 series in the allocated spots and the wheel brace also fits the nuts.

Then I tried to remove the wheel, wouldn't budge, searched Google and it was suggested to bash the wheel and it loosen, wasn’t too keen on doing that with just the jack hold up the car. I gave up. I’ll get help from my Brother next time he’s around.

I did my best to measure the wheel nut holes and also the circumference of the wheel, all seems to point that it will fit without a problem.

It looks like the spare tire kit and the spare tire bag sold by BavAuto.com are compatible with the 1 series cars. It looks to be very good quality which expalins the price tag...
They are asking $306.95 for the spare tire kit which comes with the tire, jack and handle and another $119.95 for the spare tire bag to hold all the stuff in your trunk.
