PSS delivered on Friday. Now I just need to wait for the wheels, already on Australia shores and on its way up here.

Sparoz, your car is going to be amazing with those shoes on. Will be really interesting to see the results with the stock suspension. I spent some time this weekend with a Touring Car Masters - 911 RS team and was discussing the wheels with their engineer. He said it should be good with stock suspension and if you had adjustables, you'd probably just soften it up a bit.

Very very interested in your thoughts and feedback... I hate you for sending me images of these... And that roof!

Interesting thoughts on softening the suspension. It do make sense though (I think?? - may be I am still trying to comprehending this). Not convinced with the roof yet - especially we need someone out here who is going to do a good job.

PS - Wheels made it to Brisbane today so hopefully I can post some pics tomorrow before it goes on the car .

He said the suspension needs to work less so doesn't have to be as stiff - which made sense to me at the time. He said the stock suspension didn't need to be adjusted and should cope easier with the lighter wheels.

Looking forward to seeing them on your car. What colour did you go with?

Re Roof: The body shop in town is excellent and should be able to fit it with no issues. Just not sure about the cost/weight ratio.

Yes I did actually. I like the piano black trim - looks much nicer than the cheap stock stuff.

It looks really nice - factory trim must have been even nicer.

If I could be bothered I would get it done - but fortunately I'm not really that way inclined.

This roof, however, oh boy...!

That does sound good. Almost tempted...!

The roof, the roof! Waiting on Sparoz to get home, he's using Web Outlook at work and it didn't forward the pictures.

Sparoz, you are the Aussie Powerbeast, without doubt.

Looks like you are going down the same road, Brembo's (powerbeast's were carbon ceramic ) BBS etc, you still need an Akra hahaha

It make sense, I think, I am still trying to wrap my head around it. Honestly spending my whole day trying to wrap my head around my shop at the moment.

Went with the DBK. Initially I ordered the DSK, but changed my mind . Might have to have custom grills and side gills to match .

Thanks! I have been speaking with Kamal for a while about the mods. It needs to be functional.

Probably can't be you Vinney! May be the most expensive... don't remind me of that though. The philosophy was to stay within the same 1M platform - what would BMW do without any budget constraint.

Lol - Akra? May be? . I will stick with functional mods. Although I love the Dakar Yellow the point of the exercise is pure functional. All the mods coming will have a quality that is better than stock. Not saying the quality of the Wagner, ER and the Forge is poor, nor they are bad mods, but I would look into options again a bit later.
