Beautiful ride! Love the way DSB shifts colors along the bends and curves of the car, righteous. Blue stitching on the seats goes great with DSB too, good call.

Regarding Nav, I'm with with you, I wanted more of a "throwback" car that was all about the driving experience...and plus points from me as well on the 6MT!

Less than a week to go now until I get mine. I feel like my children at Christmas time.

For those whose cars are just in the build or pre-build, I feel your pain, but the time does pass.

Enjoy the miles EYW!

DSB looks great, congrats and enjoy it!

+1 for "retro" 6MT and no nav screen on the dash! Production just completed so I'm about a month behind you guys...

Yes my car is very retro too. And this e82 is more "visceral" than my former e46 (which could be called less refined). Less of a long trip cruiser but not by a big margin.

Looking great! It's amazing how the lighting affects how light/dark that color looks at times, too.

I don't think I have the personality to pull off the blue, so will appreciate it from afar as they look great in artist formerly known as Montego Blue, LeMans, and Deep Sea Blue.

Making those of us sitting here waiting to get on a boat in Germany incredibly jealous. Enjoy her!

Hey eywflyer,

I just noticed the blue trimmed floor mats in your pics - looks cool! Is that unique to the black with blue stitch interior? I hadn't realized that it came with unique floor mats; had I known I probably would have gone for the blue stitching option (the blue stitching on the seats just by itself didn't do enough for me).

Enjoy.

Kouper, yea my understanding is that the blue outlined floor mats are exclusive with the blue stitching. Nice detailed touch which I like. It will require care to keep them clean though. Not sure if I will be able to find those same floor mats from an aftermarket source years from now if the original ones wear out - probably not.

I feel that the extra $$ for the "is" model is well worth it. My guess is that 135is in DSB and with 6MT are going to be quite rare 10-15 years from now. Hoping to still have it on the road then!

If this one is a planned keeper for you, the smart thing to do would be to go order an extra pair of those OEM mats right now while you know they are available and store them away...

The wheels alone make the package worth it. Have you seen their price as a stand alone option? Crazyness. Believe me had delivery not been an issue I for sure would have chosen an "is". Sometimes I feel cheated. But I enjoy seeing you guys cars and I enjoy my 135 just as much an used the xtra money to personalize an mod it my way.

You are such a proud new owner. I think you have posted the most pics of yours in shortest time of ownership. I kind of had a feeling when you got to the dealer an saw it no matter which way the price thing you wernt going to leave without it. I know I wouldn't of been able too

The wheels are what sold me and made it completely worth it. Not sure if that's cause the "is" is a good bargain or the 313 wheels as a stand alone are just incredibly expensive.

Love the blue stitching, too. When I saw the press release on the new "is" with the pics with the blue stitching, I went nuts and thought I have to have that. Unfortunately though, in the end, I didn't really want the leather, having had the indestructible leatherette before, and don't think the blue stitching went well with the mineral grey. I think on a blue car it's a complete no brainer and the blue stitching is the way to go, and probably also carbon black, black, and white.

When I get mine, I'll be sure to post tons of pics and also plan to do some side by side before and after pics of pre and post tint as I think that will make a huge difference and help anybody trying to decide if they want to get one and if so, how dark to go.

Breed...I've got mine on order. $1550 for the full set isn't incredibly expensive. Not for the look they give you. I've seen people
on this board spend double and triple that on items that I would call "craziness". If you like the 313s as much as I do, save up
for them and just go for it.

I dont like them that much. Also I think you misunderstood what I was talking about. I was reffering to them as a stand alone option from BMW not ordering them from somewhere else. When I ordered my car a few months ago because I could not have an "IS" delivered in europe I clicked on the bmw usa website to add the style 313 wheels. The price of them on there as a stand alone option is just over 4000 dollars (tires also). The price gap between a normal 135i and 135is is what 4500 at most. This is why i said the price as a stand alone option (from bmw was crazy) and makes the IS package worth it not to mention the PPK and other things. Im sure theres many other sites where they can be ordered for less. But like I said I didnt like them THAT much haha. So I went with forge stars which were kinda pricey but well worth it as they have the style I was going for.

Copy that. Stand-alone option $$$ for the 313s from BMW direct is crazy. And you're right, the PPK + the PE + the 313s
all add up to a nice "bargain" package on the is. When I got my '12, there obviously wasn't an is available so I've ended
up getting all of those things a la carte. Pricey, but worth it IMO. Gotta have your car the way you like it!

Glad you like the video. It's my own car and I still watch it all the time. The sound is perfect.
