it was a poor video, in person the thing sounded great. But as usual, so many exhaust sound really good when you actually get a chance to hear it in person. I prefer having a muffler cause i think it deepens the tone, but hard to get companies to offer it.

100% agree on both points, I was hoping it was just a bad video

The meisterschaft is one of the best sounding ones, cause of the muffler IMO

Everyone that has heard the exhaust in person has commented on how amazing it sounds with it opened up (no mufflers). We were originally going to add mufflers, but we liked the sound better without.

Chris.

This is great news regarding the exhaust. How's the intercooler piping and bov kit coming along?

Whether its Vent To Atmosphere (VTA) or recirc's (diverter valves), won't matter. The recirc'd air doesn't contribute to pressure in the crompressor side (cold side) of the system. It get redirected from the valves to the intake (before the turbo's). So whether its VTA or diverters, your "pipe losses" are non-existant or the same.
In other motors that have mass flow systems (MAF sensors), this would be a problem (like VW/AUDI guys) because you are losing air that the computer said would be there and thus have too much fuel.

Our cars however have a speed density based system or manifold Absolute Pressure sensor (MAP) where the fuel is based off of engine speed + what pressure is in the manifold at that time (after or even while the air is VTA'd) and so fuel is matched and delivered accordingly.

Obviously this is a condensed explanation of my rudimentary understanding of the subject.

hey chris,

have you guys tried that exhaust with catless downpipes yet? i'm a little worried it'll be too loud without resonators, mufflers, and while running catless dp's (like many of us are)
