Who runs Apex Arc8's with upgraded suspension.
Need to know if they will fit on a 2008/09 without rubbing. They do not fit properly with coilovers on these years but I wanted to know if anyone is running them with springs/struts (like koni's) without issues. Thanks |

I have them with a Eibach Pro Kit, and FDS, on my street set I am running 235's in the front and a rub pretty bad.
Rear almost never rubs. 265's on the back. |

As well as the front of the fender liner sometimes. FYI I have a very agggressive roll and pull on my fenders as well. The tires are Kumoh ES, nothing particularly wide or aggressive.
Basicly I need more camber. Currently have 1.6 or so |

Good god man, how are you rubbing that bad with a complete fender roll/pull and 1.6 neg camber in the front???
Whats your offsets and wheel size? Im running 8.5" vmr 701s with 45et up front with 5mm spacers and only .5 neg camber with very little rubbing and im using 235/265 michelin pss's as well. Only hear anything over large dips going over 55mph for the most part. |

Ya but he's not on stock suspension.. and I cant believe it would make that much of a diff. -1.6 camber is quite a lot for the fronts, specially without camber plates. With that much camber and a full fender pull he should not be rubbing unless his offsets arent right

For all the posts you make about these wheels, asking for pics on a blue car, I figured you would know what the offsets are. Btw, do you have any twine, zipties, chicken wire, coat hangers I could borrow? I'm looking to do a hack install job on my car. |

I am running APEX wheels and just lowered the car along with adding Ground Control camber plates. It has been an adventure. Oh, by the way I have a 2008 135. It took some work to get everything straight. The guys at Eibach and Ground Control came through with a combination that works for me and may work for you.
As a side note I have the APEX wheels with a 45 offset for the front which differs from the original 38. After the original install of the Eibach springs I noticed a greater amount of drop than I expected (more like the HR springs would offer). I called Eibach and explained the situation and took some pictures for them. They sent me some springs with -02 at the end of the part number as compaired to the -01's which come in the kit. If you are running stock size tires you may not notice (it will be closer than expected), but even a slight tire size up and it becomes a problem. (This is more if you choose to run camber plates the GC plates are 1/4" smaller and the vorshlag even more) If you are running 235/40/18 in the front and use the spring from the Eibach kit you will run into trouble. Call them and get the -02 included in the kit. If you choose to get camber plates make sure they are the same height as stock. If not you will run into problems. Ground Control is well aware of this and will help you out. |

I run a 245/35 (v12){rain tires} and 255/35 (Star spec.) up front w/ a 3mm spacer. Susp. is AST 4100s w/ -1.5 camber 1/16th toe out. Also have a droop spacer machined (Vorshlag) into my camber plates. no rubbing...sits just right.
Rears are 275 w/ -2 camber...may move up to -1.5 or even -1....using a 3mm spacer too, no rubbing...could probably run a 285 but felt that was too much considering the fronts are narrower.
