nice pics. I hope you can handle a little criticism.

Hi's:
Performance Bumper
Wheels

Lo's:
The hood (exposed carbon, vents, bulge)
Red roundels
Ride height

A painted hood, black or blue roundels, and moderate drop would really clean this car up in a classy way.

Thanks for the input. I get more than enough compliments to shield my ego from a little criticism

suspension is my next stop (would have been prior to the hood and bumper if it wasn't for an accident a while ago that set me back). still debating on how i want to paint the hood. i've also noticed that everyone that's not a bmw driver compliments my red roundels. i like them too, but everyone one this forum hates them

You're engine can handle it. Don't worry about it. If BMW made an engine that couldn't take a little bit of water, they would be out of business.

A little bit? The vents are right over the intake area, and specially if your using a DCI, thats a no no..

NO clue why people hate the red roundels.... I had red and black too and people hated it... I ended up removing the red because the red kept fading to orange in this Florida sun...

Mine do too! I've been having to replace them more often than I like.

If you talk to user toxsuey (he sells CF overlays in the FS section), he can hook you up with quality overlays made from CF fabric. He's in the process of doing that for me right now

Don't get why people are hating on the black and red so much, everyone else I know loves em. The blue just doesn't go with my color scheme, why couldn't BMW use a monochrome roundel hahah

wheels are breyton gts-r, same size and offsets as stock (18x8 and 18x8.5 with 45 and 48 mm offsets if i remember right). I wanted to play it safe because i've been planning to lower my ride forever but I just never get around to it, or something happens to eat up my spare money.

the vents are closed by default. when the weather gets nicer, i'm gonna look into getting them open like Berk Tech did with their hood. The engine can handle a bit of water, but the vents ARE right over where the intake is, and that's definitely not good for it, so I'm glad they come closed while I figure out a way to easily and reversibly switch the slats from closed to open.

I only see the GTS-Rs in 18x7.5 and 18x8.5 specs on TR, are urs this or 8-8.5?how do those fit? Flush with the fenders? What size tires? Got any pics of the setup from back to front and vice versa?

then they're probably 7.5, i was just trying to remember off the top of my head before so i was likely wrong. i know they're the same size and offset as stock, so any tires that fit on stock 135i rims will fit on these.

just like the stock rims with stock offsets, they sit almost completely flush with the fender, just a couple safe mm inside. it looks quite aggressive looking straight on from the front or from the back because you can see the lower halves of the tires sticking out (like you can see in the very first pic) i'll also see if i can dig up any older pictures with these rims from back to front for you too
