BMW Performance parts and standard warranty

Hey guys, I'm considering installing the performance suspension on my leased 128i. I was thinking I'd have the dealer install it, but are the new parts covered by the regular warranty, or would they have their own?

If I get it installed elsewhere, would that void either warranty? I'll speak to my CA this week but does anyone else have an idea? Thanks

I see you are in Canada, so not sure if yours is the same as the US, but down here:

- If installed before delivery, they are included in the new car warranty.
- If installed after delivery by the dealer, part + labor have 2 year warranty.
- If installed somewhere else, parts have 2 year warranty.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I just got a price quote from my CA today, I'm going to ask him to find out about the actual warranty issues. If installing before delivery (which will happen sometime in the next couple of weeks) will extend the warranty to the full warranty, I'd go with that.
