Air intake on a 125i

Hi everyone, first time poster long time reader....

Does anyone have any experience with cold air intake on a 125i ?
I have had a ecu tune done by veizu and very happy but was wanting to know what options I have for cold air systems?

Any advice?

Kasper

Dont bother with any intake stuff. The OEM snorkel and airbox are the same for 130i and 125i, so if it supports the extra output of the 130i then its fine for your 125i.

Maybe get an oiled filter to replace the factory paper filter.

Hi DubKasper, I'm interested to hear of your experiences with the ECU tune. What performance improvements have you noted? What's the fuel consumption like now?

The ecu tune has completely changed the car. Kw up to 190 now and the low down grunt has improved. A small reduction In fuel savings, could be more if the temptation wasn't there to put the boot in...

Yes, I'm in Bris Vegas, too, so I'd be interested to know more. Ball-park costs, if it's not too rude?

Why not give this a go. I think there is someone that frequents this forum that is the distributor for this product, but mostly does it for the 1M.

With this, you could go to advan and do a before dyno then load the new flash, then do an after dyno to see what your gains are.

I might give it a go myself.

What's the difference in the torque after the tune? Is it pretty much the same as a 130i?
