nice pix nathan!!! i live in the chicagoland area and have yet to see a fellow e90. i see you picked yours up at the schaumburg location; im driving an arctic 330 picked up from westmont bmw. maybe we will see each other on the road sometime. ill try to post pix of my car this weekend.

Had less than 1 mile when I picked it up

now it has about 150 from the drive back from the dealer!!!!!

And a few questions on the most recent iDrive pic you posted. It says "Hip Hop" at the bottom left hand corner. What does that signify, and how did you get that to appear? Also, why are there two times posted, 6:45am and 8:15am? Thanks.

Also, for anyone on the board who can answer this, what font do I use so I can put the "name@e90post" on pictures I post? Does someone on this site do that?

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments, I think Black Sapphire looks amazing. I drove for about an hour in the rain yesterday, so she's a little dirty now. If i remember i'll take pictures tomorrow. I already have 400 miles, and will have the engine completely broken in by Sunday - that's just 6 days for complete break in!

I actually just got a new Digital, picked up the Sony P200, 7.2 megapixels and its awesome. I actually shrunk those pictures by 70% to 1024x768, it looks amazing on HDTV.

The Hip Hop was coming from the Satellite Radio station, i guess its integrated so it all shows up while in Nav view while playing SAT. It also says CD TR2 etc, when playing CDs. I bet if you have the CD Changer and play MP3s the song name will appear in that screen as well.

The two times posted are actual time (6:45 am) and Arrival time (8:15 am).

I'm very happy with the Logic7. There are so many functions on the head unit that I haven't been able to try out yet but with all the sound controls set to 'flat' and the Logic7 set on 'Music' the system gives a very full sound with upfront vocals. What I noticed the most is how the vocals appear to come from in front of you rather than from the left and right speakers - never heard that before, even on my previous systems that cost £1500.

As for the Aux input, I hooked up my iPod briefly to it - sounds brilliant. Remember to turn up the 'Aux volume' level on the head unit - it sets it quite low by default (this is different to the general volume control on the head unit). At the moment though i'm listening to MP3 CDs i've burnt - just so I can see the cool ID3 tags on the display!
