I wish it were true . . . though I would expect a little more than that for even a 330 coupe. For a 335 coupe though? |

What make me really skeptical are the prices of the CLK350 and CLK500. |

We here in the US have always been about displacement, and always view Turbos as Being expensive and exotic. I Japan The Gs 300 is turbo and in Europe scores of turbo gasoline and turbo deisels are driven everyday. If you read what BMW has to say http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.d...1024/LATESTNEWS, You will know that turbos along with other technology is the wave of the future. I would submit that even the entry level 3 series will have turbos very soon as the cost of oil spirals. |

I have had my car since July 2005 and I still smile at its performance. I certainly agree with you on your point Ward. The E90 325 is a great car now and will be a great car in 10 or even 15 years time. In fact ALL of the E90 lineup is FANTASTIC! Enjoy your cars.

that's cool, I actually didn't even piece together that there would be different engines in the sedan vs the coupe till fleet's post explaining it hence my attitude toward the situation now I know, which I hear is approximately half of the battle |

Since my next 3 is a year away. This discussion is somewhat pertinent. It surely does make the decision interesting, since there was not much doubt that I would choose a 330 over a 325. There's also no question that, as sexy as the coupe is, I still need a sedan. So, is it going to be E90 330i or E90 328i or 335i? If the E90 lineup remains the same (325, 330) then my decision remains unchanged. but if 15 months from now it is E90 328i and 335i. I suppose my choice would then be the 328i.
Life's a compromise. And while I'm engaging in idle speculation (for what it's worth), let me hope that BMW does not make significant sheet metal changes for the 08 E90. I'm guessing from previous history that BMW has remained faithful to body styles for at least 6 years. Although it seems that the differences between the E92 and E90 are more than subtle. In the past it the coupe and sedan models have been more similar. If an 08 revision of the E90 changes it significantly in the direction of the E92 I am afraid that BMW will be in danger of cheapening its whole 3 series lineup. |

brett, talk to me when you have your 335 OPTIONED and not leatherette, non sports etc...ie, if I want a 'base' car for a premium over another vehicle it would make good sense to purchase another brand. BMW preys on those that buy into the 'hp isn't everything war'. While I own BMW and will continue to do so, hp LEAVES you on exit of corners regardless of whether or not you can drive it more deeply than say a G35. Whats this mean??? Nothing. But to tell me the 335 isn't going to be a premium is simply ignorant. It will be mid 40s all day long if you get leather...I mean honestly, who in the hell is going to order a 40k car and NOT get leather???? are you serious??? Why would you NOT get xenons or the prem. package? You came that far, why not do purchase what BMW is known for...luxury and performance combined...not good handling with ugly 16" wheels and leatherette.

I've enjoyed having a 330 up to now. On that note, I dont really care what happens to the model line. I've enjoyed my car till now, and will continue to do so.
