New owner here!

Hello All!

I'm the proud owner of a 'new to me' 2012 135i M-Sport coupe with DCT!

Just picked her up less than a week ago and decided to lurk a little on these forums before becoming a member. So far I really like this car. It's got great looks, love the color, has basically everything I'd want in a vehicle, and only has a little under 24,500 miles! It appears to have been very well maintained by the previous owner from what I can tell and from what the CarFax report shows.

Posted a few photos for your enjoyment. I'm really looking forward to learning a lot more about these cars!

Welcome. Same color combo as mine, including the Glacier Silver Aluminum Trim, and I love it as well. Any upgrades planned or will you leave it as is?

For now leaving her as-is, but I may do some stuff down the road. Probably an alarm will be first on my list.

I believe if you were going for BMW's alarm the car needs to be pre-wired for it.

From what I've been reading you are correct. I'm thinking aftermarket will be the way to go.
