Only had the E87, but many things are exactly the same.

After you extract the files (start with the part 01 file, the others should be done automatically after you point your RAR program of choice to the folder where all seven parts are contained), you'll need to burn the expanded files to a DVD.

Once you've burned the DVD, navigate to the \WIN95\BMW\TIS. Run setup.exe and install Sysadm.

Run Sysadm and install the TIS software by selecting TIS- Install. This will start the install process. Note, this process took FOREVER on my computer, as in just about overnight. I was sure it was broken, but it installed fine and it works flawlessly.

I inquired at Bentley Publishers and got this reply:

Thank you for your inquiry. An automotive technical service manual for a E82 is not available at this time and we do not have a date for when it will become available. I bought one on eBay a couple months back but I couldn't install it because doesn't run on Windows 7 64-bit and that's all that I have...

I downloaded a .rar torrent over the summer and it worked really well. It's really setup for a very basic computer. Was really slow loading an if I clicked on things to much it would freeze. As long as I took it slow I didn't have a problem. My comp has since broke so I'm not sure where I got it from. I think I just searched all the torrent sites I could find. It took like four days to download. Not very many seeders. I left it seed for a 2 weeks then I killed it. When it did work, it was great with pics and tool numbers and directions. Really wish I would have burnt it.

Anyone have any links to manual I can download? my car is coming off warranty and I decided to keep it, I'll be doing most of the services on it my self. Thanks guys

Also, if anyone has a DVD and would like to sell me a copy for a reasonable price? :-) I have a 2008 135i premium package.

I just typed BMW into Ishohunt and all kinds of stuff popped up.
