Koni FSD shocks -- ride comfort
I have a 2008 128i, all stock, including standard suspension. I am looking to improve the ride comfort.
Not worried about handling, just looking for an improvement in ride comfort. I am planning to put in a set of Koni FSD shocks, and leave the standard OEM springs and bump stops. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks. |

They will improve ride and handling. Here's a review at Tire Rack.

Comfort was a concern for me along with having an adjustable ride height and dampening.
I went with the KW Street Comforts. Being built in Germany, it'll be another 2+ weeks before I have them installed. They are worth a look and consideration. |

Thanks for the info. I wasn't familiar with the KW street comforts.

Thanks for the responses. I ordered a set of Koni FSD shocks from shox.com. Will be using the original OEM springs and bump stops that came with the car (std suspension). Will post some notes on how it rides after they are installed.

It's rare to have a direct comparison like the Tirerack review. Based on that, and some favorable stuff on FSDs on the web, I'm going FSD. But it will be a while. |
