Yes they are et 40 they stick out slightly. I investigated this a month ago when I was looking at Ultraleggeras. Same offsets.

An 18 x 8 square setup does work however. The only downside is that your restricted to a 225/40 18 tire set up due to the wheel widths.

i was under the impression that you could fit 235s on 8 inch wide wheels too... not sure though.

Yeah your right. I was thinking the limits on a 7.5" wheel. But regardless, the 18x9 in the back is flush with the fender at the top of the wheel, but due to the car's camber sticks out slightly on the bottom.
