1M Traqmate data

I thought you guys might be interested, we did an informal comparison between a lightly modded 1M and my more modded MCoupe, the 1 M is a very impressive machine!

You can download the traqmate files for both cars.

Nice write up AC...glad to hear the weekend went well. Wish I could have made it, but I didn't get through the first service in time. Just about to walk out the door to go do some pulls with Eddie to see who did a better job breaking in the motor.

Andrea -

Great stuff!

Had my 1M on track first time last weekend (on Summit Point's Shenandoah Circuit). With minor modifications, I'm convinced it will be a worthy successor to MDORPHN.

BTW, what are your impressions of the KW Clubsports. Also, any idea what spring rates he was running with them?

Hope to see you soon.

Once i sort through all my data, and video i will upload it along with a review of the clubsports. The car for just having suspension and some R888 is pretty damn fast.

That's what I'm talking about! 275's on the front! No rubbing I assume?
A lot of people talked bad about the R888's when they replaced the RA-1's but I always liked them as an intermediate tire on my race car. They were obviously slower than the Hoosier R6's in the dry but I never understood all the hating. Perhaps they just did better on heavier cars as it seemed like the Miata guys were the ones that chucked them.

Were you doing much trail braking thru turn 2 and 3?

Dan I am uploading some videos and will post for viewing pleasures. The tires are descent but they're no Hoosier and they overheat pretty quick but they're good and more than enough for anyone that is not competing and its just having fun. My only gripe is that they make so much damn noise on the highway that it sounds like your wheel bearing is about to fall apart.

The 275's up front looked like they were right at home. I was actually using a 5mm spacer up front. The rear had plenty of room to be filled though.
