Normally I'd be all over this but not this weekend as I have already made other plans. Enjoy yourselves guys. I'm sure it won't be the only time once you get a taste for it.
Here's the 135 benchmark from yours truly (right lane #128). Good luck! |

How many runs
If you get there at the start of the meeting, you will usually get two runs in fairly quickly before the crowd builds and the serious guys get their unregistered cars off their trailers and set-up.
After about 6pm it will slow down a little. They shut the staging lanes at around 9:30 and finish up around 10pm. If you keep at it all night you should get 6 or 7 runs and possibly more if there are no extended oil-down stoppages. I generally do 2-3 runs at the start, stop for a feed and to watch from the stands for a while and then have a other 2 or 3 runs when the temp drops a few more degrees. Cheers! |

Thanks for the advice Caduceus, I will probably do what you said because I would also like to watch some of the faster cars run. what mods do you have on that 135? thats a real quick time, well done.

I only got 3 runs, my quickest was 13.17 @ 170kmh. I feel I could have done better however being my first visit to the track I dont think I did too bad. Ill be going back with Darren probably on a weeknight when its not so busy to try and crack the 13 sec barrier ill upload some vids and the time sheet soon.

sounds good chris, we will organise it within the next few weeks. In regards to the helmet you dont need anything special as long as its got the standard ticks on it then you will be fine. mine wasnt even a full faced one as you can see here

yeh the ss ute I beat by a few car lengths so it must have been standard. There was an xr6 turbo ute there that had an exhaust and intercooler etc, I was in front of him pretty much the whole way then he came through and got me on the line I had alot of fun though and I cant wait to do it again
