Offering 1,000 below MSRP in NJ, sound reasonable? How long is the current wait?
Whats goin on guys, I've decided to pick up a 6spd 135!
Alpine White Sport Package Coral Red Leather MSRP $38,275 $1,000 off MSRP seems pretty reasonable to me, what do you guys think? I've heard of people getting $500-1000 over invoice. If anyone would like to recommend a dealer or salesman it's much appreciated! I'm in North Jersey, I don't mind driving out of my way for great service and a great deal! About how long is the current wait from date ordered for a 135? I'm looking forward to joining you guys!! |

Maybe it's a NYC metro area thing, but I'm not sure how some of these people on this forum were able to get $500-800 over invoice. I think any dealer around here would laugh at me with an offer like that, since it seems they can sell them at or above MSRP without much trouble. |

I'm getting mine built to order; it started production yesterday. I went to a northern Jersey dealer myself, though even one in central/western Jersey was only offering me MSRP.

Last month a dealer offered me $500 off MSRP. 2 days ago another dealer near me offered $1,500 off MSRP. He keeps calling me and leaving messages on my cell. YES they will deal. Just be patient and walk out if you don't get a good deal. After a few days, expect a phone call.

I just got an email from the infiniti dealership saying they have tax money to give back on the cars, whatever that means. They are talking thousands off sticker. The pendulum is going the other direction right now. Manufacturers are worried, especially now with China finally taking some of their price controls off gasoline. I'm sure China has been sucking up performance cars at a pretty fast clip these last couple years.

yeah, same here, was on the way home from work the other day; stopped to "pick up" a quart of milk, a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread and decided to "pick up" a porsche 911 turbo too since it was on the way anyway.

Some people really do shop that way on occasion, though usually not with cars/homes.

Who is/was your CA? Mine was Robert Chrysler, really enthusiastic guy, was more excited than I was about buying the car but he couldn't deal.
