Replace your Roundel !!!

In the past week I have seen 3 different BMW with messed up Roundels. For god sake, replace them. I mean you bought a 40k+ car and you drive around like this!

Feel better now?

I'm sure most people with messed up roundels aren't on this forum

What do you mean by messed up Roundel? An emblem shouldnt even begin to tarnish on a 40k car. Maybe on an E30 or something.

The ones I have seen are all silver, like the color parts have came off. It happen when I had my 328is once. A rock hit the roundel and it clear coat started to peel off.

I had to replace my roundel after about 7 years, but then the car was only worth about 10,000 and at around $25 it was a lot for a little cosmetic work. (I still got one, duh)

Happened to mine too. A few small rock chips and the roundel flakes away. I figured OEM roundels are $15 and carbon fiber roundels are $24. Small price to pay to keep those propellers looking new and clean.

I'd post a pic, but it is from my E30. My 04 saab has started to do this too - but only the rear - which gets a lot more afternoon sun than the front.

Its all about UV.

And the replacements seem to me to be far lower quality than the originals.
