has ANYONE done LED daytime strip lights?

nah theres no such thing as cant, they just wont.
in america I believe its due to legal reasons, Ive read specifically what you described

the m3 cluster was cool yeah

regarding those lights dont know what brand they are
don't fuss yourself too much, if you want to do it just go on Ebay and search 135i LED
There are Hella replicas or something like that for about $150
There are also cheaper versions at around $50 and also $25

Slight differences between them, if you're keen for it just pick one and buy it
Any car workshop should be able to installem

Thing is I don't just want a strip, i want them in housings if you know what I mean. Those simple strips with no housings looks cheap like the price you pay for them

EDIT: I see the ones you are talking about on eBay. They don't look too bad. Would still prefer the round housing around each LED though.



Even looks like projector lenses around the LED's..That's an idea hey
