Does the alarm have a panic feature?

My dealer did not include an instruction manual for the alarm, so I have no reference.

I'm a tough guy and all...seriously...

Actually, the real reason I would like it is to test the alarm to see what it sounds like. I have Comfort Access, so I can't really sit in the car with it locked to set off the motion sensor.

Maybe someone knows how to set off the alarm with Comfort Access?

I don't have CA, but I just hold down the trunk open button and the alarm goes off.

Holding the trunk button will work, but also just roll the windows down, arm the alarm, wait for about a minute and then stick your hand in the window and that should set the motion sensor off.

For a small fee, I'll smash in a window and jump in your car for you.

Yeah, I think it's the trunk button if you hold it for a few seconds. I think the alarm functions are in the regular manual, with the * for optional equipment.

Mine functions the same way and I have CA as well. Just hold the trunk open button on the fob.

But this action will also open the trunk, right?

The problem i see is if you want to locate your car in a huge parking lot, you wouldn't want to open the trunk and activate the alarm...just wondering...

If you hold the trunk button, the panic feature will activate and your trunk will not open.

If you have the alarm armed, you can still open your trunk without deactivating the alarm first.

Problem is I don't think the panic feature can be used to locate you car in a parking lot given the short functioning range of the key fob.

Arrow Panic Button

I alaso tried holding in the TRUNK button on the key fob and it simply opens the trunk (bootlid) wintin 3 seconds.
I cannot seem to get this working. Can somebody explain the Exact procedure for us, my manual says nothing about a panic button.
The alarm does go off when triggered.
