Cindy McCain's spending habits...

From Politico:

"Their credit card bills peaked between January 2007 and May 2008, during which time Cindy McCain charged as much as $500,000 in a single month on one American Express card and $250,000 on another, while one of their two dependent children had an AmEx card with a monthly balance as large as $50,000."

Given that she is worth about $100 million, I don't think debt is the issue.

Would it be fun spending that much, or more like work? Where would you put all the stuff?

So what? They're rich as shit.

Reminds me of that Saudi prince with all the cars.

If the McCains are running out of money, then it's a problem.

People that rich have no concept of hard times, though. A little out of touch with what 'common' Americans are dealing with. Someone like George Bush, a regular guy, knows what it feels like to pay $4.50 for gas. Out of site, out of mind.

When is the last time a politician filled his own gas tank? Don't they use limousines to get everywhere? "Jeeves, bring me to the soup kitchen, I need to make an appearance."

I ended up pumping gs next to one of our senators a few weeks ago. He mentioned how fortunate I was not to be filling up something like his Yukon. I pointed out mine required premium and he conceded that was just as painful. I asked when we were going to get ANWR open and he rolled his eyes.

Figures, a Yukon. Was he alone, too?

Or were secret service with him?

What difference would it make if he was alone?

I do, however, think his wife was with him.

Secret Service generally does not protect members of Congress.

Just a few questions to clarify the picture:

1. Did he had a wide stance?

2. Did he rolled his eyes because he had something in his eyes or he thought your question was an attempt at brownnosing?

Hillary did. Right after she got out of the duck blind and did a few shots of at the local bar.
