If there is an international force that has to be dominant, I prefer it to be US than China, USSR or even M-E. This still doesn't excuse the crimes that some bastards from the US did (basically anything that attacks cities at large with approximate means).

Where did he say we were superior to other countries? All he said we don't deserve to be attacked. Only referring to us with no implications of other countries. No country deserves to be attacked. But, the fact of the matter is that will never happen. I just wish we could go back to our roots and only attack countries/groups that attack us first. But, that would first require getting rid of all nuclear technology as we're forced to do preemptive attacks if we suspect a hostile country has nuclear weapons and plans to use them.

They have no blue water navy to speak of. They have little to no strategic airlift. In a word they lack the ability to deploy any military power from there to anywhere else.

The level of training for their ground forces is lacking at anything beyond brigade/regimental level. The training of their aircrews is well below that of most European nations, and that in itself is significantly below that of the US.

The Russians have some fine military equipment but for the foreseeable future they are not a military threat to the US outside of a nuclear confrontation or a land battle on the Russian homeland.

I would not underestimate Russia. The entire country is built on military and their technology is awesome a lot of it secret.
