335i Sedan Any One?

Its about that time for my E39 530i to go to greener pastures and I decided to visit my dealer. I was kind of set for a 335 Coupe, but after talking to some of my buds there I've put a deposit for a new 335 sedan. They stated SOP is September with October delivery, but Ill believe that when I see it. Anyways regardless of the time delay Im an official waiter. Kind of excited about the situation. Soo to all you waiters It'll be a pleasure to see this through with all of you.

They told me that the 335 sedan would be SOP September, and that they may see their first cars in by late November. After being at the dealership day in and day out, trying out everything they had it seems I opted to wait for the 335 sedan. Anyways, they slotted me their first allocation so Im very excited about that. Once things become a little more official Ill let you know of any news they give me.

My dealer is either clueless or good at obfuscation. They claim no info on colors etc. for 2007 E90 other than likely to include current options. I am hoping for some new colors, like the space grey or montego blue on the E92. But I can understand why BMW might want to keep some exclusive E92 colors. What I really want is interlagos blue (the most perfect BMW color ever, IMO), but I don't think that's going to be available on an E90 until the M is released.

It would seem so, albeit on a dealer by dealer basis... Nothing is real until an official release makes it so.

Because I need to plan my ED trip. Different plan required for Oct (Germany is still nice, I can bring the kids and show them where there greatgrandma grew up, etc., versus Nov/Dec cold rain, no alps with summer tires (ZSP), yuuch. That is why I need to be first on my dealer's list and get a commitment from them ASAP. My wife would prefer to wait until summer 2007 -- aaaggghhh!

Based on an article I read 2 yr ago, there will be a 4-door M3 E90, so 4-door 335i E90 makes sense. Just guess these will be 'international'.

i have likewise put a deposit on a 335i sedan, and my dealer told me delivery late october!

hey e394ken, i noticed u live in ventura, do u go to cutter motors in santa barbara? or do u go further south? i put a deposit on my 335i at cutter.

I live in Ventura so thirty minutes from cutter. Ill be getting mine at Steve Thomas. Someone mentioned color. Dont know yet maybe Space grey with terra, or crimson red interior. I have a black 530i so noooooo black. I love it clean but a little dust and grime and its toast, and there I go back to the car wash. Ill keep you all posted. I was at the dealer yesterday and no order sheet yet. Hopefully theyll be taking orders by mid or end of June.

Sorry to rant, their 335 coupe demo hopefully will be in by July. Again Ill post pics and info as soon as I get it.

I believe I've seen E90Fleet say that it's a given that the 335 sedan will exist in the European market. Whether or not we will see it here is the question.
