I got the 45mm offset version from here. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear.

Tires were about a grand and the wheels are about the same.

Handling is superb compared to my stock wheels and Continental DWS Much more responsive steering, better feedback and of course, grip. The car also feels noticeably lighter than with stock wheels on.

The wheels are Hyperblack. Before I got them I was a little worried they would look too chrome-y, but I think they're just right.

Yes, stock suspension and no rubbing. I did get alignment done FYI.

That's exactly the combination I'm thinking about doing on my car. Tires are a given - it's the ARC-8 wheels that are holding me back. Not sure what color to go with on a white car.

Solid choice, that's a good looking setup. I am really considering a set of ARC-8 wheels. Planning to swap back to the stockers and DWS in the winter?

235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. I am about to buy these rims have you had any problems with the 235/40 in the front? The web site says you should get camber plates to make sure there is no rubbing, have you had any problems with this? If you have im just going to get the 225/40/18 and be happy with it.. =)

airs,

The car looks great! The Hyper Black finish was a great choice for your color car. Glad to hear you're enjoying the Super Sports and lighter wheels.

You won't have rubbing with 235/40/18's street tires on the ET45 version of the wheel and a stock car. If you had an r-compound or an extreme summer tire like a Hankook RS-3, then the possibility is there. No one has had issues with tires like the PSS.
