HA! Yes, there's nothing better than taking pictures of an LS1 FD on holy ground such as that.

It's unfortunate the gods didn't help us a touch more against USC this past week. :iono:

I think that a Le Mans blue car in a sunny day shall look very similar to a Montego blue car in a cloudy day.

A Le Mans blue car in a cloudy day is much darker:

It was unfortunate to have been there and seen the mayhem in person... :frown:

Vibrant shades like that always remind me of those god awful brightly colored injection molded plastic toys for infants and toddlers. Not a look I want to emulate on my car....sorry.
This is the most ridiculous thing I have read on this forum so far.

I love it. As a former Estoril Blue E36 M3 owner and a Steel Blue E46 owner, I'm obvously biased. I think I'd prefer Montego Blue, but I'd be happy with Le Mans Blue if that ends up being the only blue available on the 135i in the U.S.

Looks hot. A friend of mine owned a bright blue E46 330Ci, and I loved that car.

A definite winner, in my book.

not sure if that camera is showing this montego blue color a bit more brighter than what it should be, but it looks like it is leaning more towards purple than blue. if you look here:

http://www.bmw.de/de/de/index_highen...visualizer.xml

you can see the montego blue color is definitely a bit more bland... my thoughts is that this camera is skewing the color off....

i guess you have to see the color in person to really come to a decision. my vote is that if the color really looks like that pic, its way too much for my liking. if it comes off like the german configurator shows, i am all for it.

You can also compare the Montego blue car of this thread with a Le Mans blue 123d Coupe with M-Package in a video published in this forum:

Wow, that is hot!

If I end up ordering a 135i, its going to be tough to choose a color, I like all of them, but Graphite and Silver are overplayed, Black looks cheap IMO. I would choose Alpine with Red interior (if its available), Crimson with Black, or Montigo with "football." I forget the real name, but my buddie calls his "football" I love it...
