Just so no one gets confused at a later date, this beautiful picture of the 1 Coupe was taken in California in February 2008.

I love the sparkling Graphite color but in some lights it has a purple hue which turns me off.

SGM and Coral may be one of the best combos for this car. There is definitely no paint color that goes better with coral than SGM.

I really want to see the Coral Red interior... Red is one of those colors that has to be seen in person, it never looks quite right in photographs.

BTW: I changed my order to SGM when I saw one roll by at the Dealership. It's the most amazing turn around (I) have ever made on a vehicle decision but when I'm wrong I'm wrong. Just glad I got to see my old choice and new one in person the same day.

My experience of this 1er so far is it looks very different in the flesh. Colors that looked good on other BMW's don't look as good on it and ones I was sure wouldn't work, look fantastic. If I would make one very strong recommendation about ordering the 1er, it would be to see the combination you want in person because the difference between the mind's eye and the actual one crazy different.
