Im curious to see what the VS10 will look like. The 7 and 8 are very similar to a set of wheels I have on one of my other cars already.

The price, I suppose, is for 4 rims?

Thanks!!

Yup - for four wheels, staggered fitment. Could be less for non-staggered.

That you mean with staggered fitment?

Sorry!

No problem. I think you are asking a question regarding my statement regarding staggered fitment.

The GB price is for wheels that are wider at the back than the front. Staggered widths like OEM.

Morr Alloys stated that the price may be less if all four wheels are the same width, which some may want (me included) as tire prices are more manageable and will help with the "dreaded" understeer.

What are the widths? OEM widths? with non staggered being the OEM rears on the fronts?

Do we know what width and offset yet? I am worried about rubbing and street usability, as well as cost. 19"s will be more expensive to replace than 18".

This is what we know so far from Morr >
" 4. What wheel width and offsets will be developed for staggered? Around 8-10mm more aggressive than OEM."

OEM data >
135i
Front 18x7.5, offset 49
Rear 18x8.5, offset 52

Keep in mind folks that the "proper" offset for a wheel is width dependent.

For those of us ditching the staggered widths we will also need to know what width we can stuff up front and whether fenders will need to be rolled or not.

There are some good threads regarding this if anyone wants to search on 1Addicts for more information. There are some very knowledgeable posters regarding the subject on this site.

Those are BMW 261 style rims and are standard with the sports pack in the rest of the world outside of USA. They are not available as an option in USA AFAIK. You would need to convince someone outside of USA to swop out with you or to see if they could order a pair for you, but will be difficult to order as I think they are only available with the sports pack.

PS! I'm keeping mine - sorry

Oh no! I do have the Sports Package ordered, but its not coming with those wheels! I still like the ones they are putting on the US model - but I have to admit I like these a bit better.

Thanks for the answer!

You can always buy the "accessory" wheel from BMW. Model #182.

It looks like 8.5s might not fit up front without wheel spacers, so we might not know more until the end of next month.

All mostly speculation right now, but I am seeing the same information as Chuck as to wheel width.

Vendors like Tire Rack just will not release any information until they have their hands on a car and are testing fitment.

Not sure how Morr goes forward from where we are now, lot's of folks interested but no cars officially available for them to test, measure, etc.

I will try and find out what the likely timeline is from here.

Can't you get the fitment issues resolved through people in Europe?

I am glad to see this thread has been moved to it's new home.

I have had the flu for about a week, and am just getting over it. Don't touch your keyboard without washing your hands after...

I will update the thread on these latest questions in the next couple of days after I get some work caught up! Jeez I hate the friggin' flue.
