Got my VIN# today

for my 128I Cabrio.
This is the build week.

Should have it before the end of March.

Can't we all do something to speed up this global warming thing.. :iono:
Winters are still too damed cold and too long for me..

Durham BMW on the 401 near Whitby. It's also BMW Canada HQ.

Thanks!

I guess that is why you get up to date info. Getting anything from my dealership is like pulling teeth. Always have the info from here before I get anything from them.

I dont suppose some of you guys will be able to get my VIN for me? hahaha

Once we have a VIN can we get updates? or is it just as useless as this production # I have?

You should be able to get your Order Number, VIN and all other updates regarding the production and shipment of your vehicle from the Client Advisor who handled the paperwork for ordering your car.
MY guy is really good at keeping me updated via email on progress with the vehicle.
Your Client Advisor has access to your order online and it takes him 10 seconds to pull it up and 10 seconds more to print it off for you.. That has all the info you'll need through the production process..
You're paying full MSRP for the vehicle and you should expect nothing but 1st class service (else you might as well order a Kia, eh?).
My recommendation to all of you is to stop in and see your dealer/Client Advisor and ask for a printout of your order. You should do that in any even to make sure that the options and trim you ordered is what is on your order.
That printout will also show the scheduled build month/week and show the VIN if it has been assigned.
BTW, the VIN is generally assigned about 1 week prior to production date.
