Hi,

I’m thinking to buy one E82 120d, but the color will be the Sedona red or Le Mans blue.

Have you considered the 123d ?

Regards (Cumprimentos)

hi! (ou ola se preferir! :smile Sorry but i saw yor question only now!
i considered 3 cars before buying this one - the 120d coupe, the 123d coupe and the 320d coupe - all this before seeing the 1 coupe live!
i had also decided that my budget would be strict (40.000€).
So when the 1 arrived i went to see it and i realy loved it - saw a black m pack 120d identic to the one i ordered a week later

the salesman is a friend and i asked him what he thought of the 2 engines and he said the 123d is similar - he said "1 second faster from one traficc light to another only good if you are a real speed freak"

it was a difficult decision because the 123d with no m pack was the same proce as my 120d m with the optional equipment. Furthermore i drive about 2500km a month and i was afraid that the fuel economy of the 123d wouldn't be that good or that it could have more mecanical faillures - because it's a more complex engine. but i must say that it was a very difficult choice and that if money wasn't an issue at all i would buy the 123d M.

2000km driven in 3 weeks, the 120d i can say that it's the best car i've had (i come from a volvo s60 d5), great cornering, really good looking!
the suspension is stiff only in bad roads and the gearbox is a bit rough but it's getting softer with time.
haven't really put the foot down but i can say it does 180kph at 3000rpm in 6th gear (redline is at 4700rpm). fuel consuption 6.6l/100km (20%city /40% secondary roads at 70-80kph / 40% 140-180kph).

So i'm happy, very happy!
Hope i helped
Abraço!

Hi (Olá)!

Thanks for the answer, I decided to go for the 120d to replace a Corolla D4D 1.4.
I tried the 120d and 123d, the second is a little bit faster but, for a every day car, the 120d is the best choice.

Abraço, Regards

PS: muitos e bons kms com essa máquina cheios de divertimento.
