alpinedb,

Are those the 216 Style wheels? According to the bmwusa website they're $1664 as an accessory. I love them! Do you know how much they weigh?

They are the 216 accessory wheels. I think.. maybe not right... I remember being told by the dealer that these weigh 21 lbs a piece.

Outstanding! I get my MB 135 in about 3 weeks.

For some reason I really like the stock wheels in combo with MB. They look great on your car. I had been thinking that I'd get aftermarket wheels but am having second thoughts about this. Are you keeping your 264's ?

Love those 264 wheels.. they are simple and easy to clean. I would keep it and find a set of OEM 17" for winter wheels.

The "easy to clean" part is very nice. Brake dust can make the best looking aftermarket wheels look old and dull.

Car is at the port. Need a few questions answered:

(1) For the current owners out there, any paint chip issues thus far? I'm toying with the idea of a clear bra.

(2) Did anyone get the dealer to prep the car? If so, any swirls? If not, I've never done this stuff before and need to know if its something I can handle without screwing it up, as well as doing a good job.

(3) Any idea how to install a center license plate without drilling holes? I don't know if I want to do that thing with the towing and would prefer tape, but will tape that strong harm my bumper?

(4) What else is going to happen when I get the car? First new car here...

Thanks
LJ

The 135i looks amazing in Monaco Blue. I have been stopped quite a few times in the 5 weeks I've had mine. It has aluminum accents with Terra Cotta leather seats. This is them most fun of all of the BMWs I've had since the 2002 model.
With a helluva lot more power.
