Sport Pac Steering Wheel Question

Does the steering wheel on the sport pac have that ugly chrome trim on it.

Please say it doesn't...

If it's a 135i with ZSP in the US, it comes with an M Badge on the steering wheel (and it is a 'zaftig' wheel, extra chunky ; -). AND NO STINKING ALUMINUM.

No aluminium on the M Sport steering wheel.

It is on our 335d and it's actually really nice, but I much prefer the M Sport steering wheel.

Is there any difference in the Thickness of the Sport pack ///M steering wheel and the Std. one?

I actually prefer the non-perforated leather, but dont want to give up the Thick wheel.

Yes, the M wheel is really thick. The Std wheel looks like the 3 series sport wheel.

^ I second that. Gripped it at the autoshow. First impression was that it was so thick as to requiring time to get used to it.

If it is anything like the steering wheel in the Z4 M Roadster, it will be amazing. That was one of the best steering wheels I have ever had the pleasure of piloting. Nate

M steering wheel is very thick, when you see it you say OMG, that is for elephants, when you drive the car you say; The heck, those guys in Munich know what is their business.

Last Friday I got to drive a 335i Sedan for the 1st time, and was blown away by the power. I loved so much about that car - especially the steering wheel. I noticed it was smaller than the 05 330ci I had just gotten out of. I then very briefly drove a 135i w/sport, and thought the wheel was way too thick. I have small hands - and I found this a real disappointment. This one 'feeling' is making me consider the 335i over the 135i. I couldn't get my fingers around the wheel. I wonder if I would adapt.

I have a good line for this, but I am not sure the mods or the females in the audience would appreciate this type of humor.

Please fill in the blanks yourselves...

Thick does the trick. The steering wheel is awesome.

I ordered mine with the sport pack specifically for the wheel. The wheel is sick, you can get used to it. Although, I am still not completely convinced that the sport seats are any different than the base 135i seats???
