Interesting. Another (doctor) mate has traded his TT for a le mans blue 135 up in brisvegas and another is putting his money down today for one, wishing his Z4 a fond farewell.

There's also plenty talk in the OR and ED about this car. Even from the usual elitist porsche anaesthetist camp

Had a look at the business nav today whilst in the showroom. It DOES display map and arrow at the same time.

Are you sure you were looking at the Business NAV? If this is the case what is the difference between Business and Professional.

I was with the dealer. It said Business nav on the outside of the car and he assured me it DOES show map/arrow at the same time. Though he was less clear on the differences.

Hmm I'm confused now. This is an excerpt from drive.com.au :
"
The 1-Series doesn’t come with BMW’s controversial i-Drive controller as standard. It’s only fitted if navigation is specified. There are two levels of navigation on offer. A $2700 “Business Navigation” package includes a 6.5-inch folding colour display screen with DVD drive, on screen arrows, route highlighting and audio instructions.
The 1-Series Professional Navigation system adds $4200 and includes split-screen navigation, and a more detailed tier of navigation capabilities."

Guess I will know for sure when the cars hit the showrooms in a couple of weeks...

I'm confused as well sigh.

I'm 99.9% sure it was the business system I saw in the three today and had demonstrated to me. It definetely had arrows and maps simulataneously......
