Heh, fair call there guys - i'm the exact opposite -
i do too much city driving to warrant a manual.
As much as i'd love some killer performance in my car - its mainly to nail hotted up riceburners (not that there is anything wrong with that) or V8 sportspack holdens (definately something wrong with that) at the lights.

I'm was thinking abt getting a MCS and am considering the option of 125. Am wondering what region $$ I'll be looking at for a base model drive away? 58?

Yeah, I would say a base model 125i with no options should be around $ 58 or $ 59k

Having driven a 130i I can say that it is fairly quick and the engine is smooth as silk. However it also made me firmly decide to go for the 135i if I decide to go with the 1-series coupe as my daily.
