"best" iPod adapter for '08 128i?

Did some searching through this site and found several units, namely the Dice mO-BMW-48, Dension Gateway 500, and mObridge A2010. And of course there's the OE iPod adapter as well. My problem is, I can't really seem to find too many reviews of the various units and those that I do find aren't terribly conclusive. So what's the "best" or "most popular" iPod interface for these cars? Certainly the OE unit is the least expensive!

Also, my car does not have the CD changer and so it's my understanding that I will need to visit my dealer to have them turn this feature on after the install is complete, no matter which iPod interface I choose. Correct?

Garage List
I just got the Dension GW500 and the FISCON BMW Pro (Bluetooth) installed in my car. I already had the CD Changer installed so the Dension worked without any coding.

The sound quality was pretty good from a USB and I would expect iPod to be on par with the USB. You can select by Album/Artist/Genre/Folder.... etc with the DENSION and the track titles does appear on the BMW Radio Professional. All-in-All, I am happy with the device. Although, the Dension can have BTA1500 for bluetooth, I didn't go for that as it only works when Dension is the source to the radio. FISCON worked much closer to stock.

On caviat of the DENSION, it is supposed to connecting to an always-on power source and it is pretty difficult to find one in the cabin. Any suggestion on where my Dension can tap constant-on power in the cabin?

According to the Dension instructions, the black/red wire in the car-side plug is the constant 12v, no?
