I'm fortunate to be a member of National Capital Chapter (MD, NoVA & DC) the largest chapter still I believe. Great group of fellow car freaks. Welcome to BMWCCA and enjoy belonging to one of the best car clubs on the planet!

I'm a member, and had never even visited the forums at bmwcca.org until I read your post.

Bopped on over there, and found that while not dead, they aren't getting a ton of traffic either.

I've found that the best part of membership is the Roundel magazine, and then the ability to partake in some select local events (show and shines, visits to HQ in NJ, etc.)

For those that track, I would imagine the track events are also a plus, but I'm not sure CCA membership is absolutely required.

Member since 1998. Roundel is a fine publication and the Membership Reward Program is great. Not to brag.. but I was one of the raffle winners two years ago. A new BMW or cash... I took the cash and bought a Z4MCoupe.

Member since 8/05 I love the Roundel Magazine and the rebates when you buy certain new BMWs if you are a member for at least one year running. I got a $1K rebate on my 07 335i and should soon receive my $1K on my 08 X5. Too bad no rebate offered to members for the 1 Series. It wouldn't have helped me anyone since there is a one rebate per year limit

You really need to be a member, the mag alone is worth the membership fee.

Yeah Crowley!! Welcome to the club (0002s as well). Attend meets, meetings, concourse, wine tastings, autox's, DE's whatever.. You're going to meet some really cool people and make friends. Plus you get Roundel Magazine.. worth the price of membership alone.

Bring your card to the dealership, if buying parts... you get a discount too.

no one has mentioned the annual raffle!

as for Roundel, i think they have a policy of trying to answer every tech question, whether it gets printed or not. a phenomenal resource. also, free classifieds for members.

I've re-re-re-joined. But someone else at BMWCCA has stolen my handle during my last lapse, so I've become wadsworl over there. See you 'round the Roundel.
