135 std seat = 128 sport seat?

Trying to figure out what to order on the 135.... from the bmw site, it appears that the 135 comes std. with the sport suspension, 8-way manual seats (128 sport seats?) and xenon lights, all options in the 128. so, that really leaves no need for the sport pckg... if i'm correct, which I'm probably not.

If the std. seats are the same, are they pretty comfortable, any reason to upgrade, heck, they're 8 way adjustable... main reason I'd want the sport pckg in the 128 is for the suspension and the 135 has it, the seats are just a nice addition. Everything the dealer has is either sport pckg or power leather and I personally felt the leatherette sports were more comfortable than the leather power seats.... my wife agreed. but, he could not tell me what the stock 1 series seats were.

Make sure you try out both seats. While most swear by the sports seats, and I used to like the old e46 sports seats, my e90 sports seats pinch my legs causing a lot of pain (no I'm not big either).

For me this is good, this way I could get the 135i with the sports suspension but without the constricting seats.

so then, are the std. 1 series seats and the std 3 series seats the same? They don't have any 1s with std seats so if the 3s are the same, i'll sit in one of those and see if I like those seats.

they also don't have a m/t 1 in stock, so I may have to find a 3 with a manual to try.... there's another dealer a little farther away I may try as well.

thanks for the info and i've been searching since I joined... i'll look around some more on it... if it is still an 8 way adj. seat, i don't really see how it can be that uncomfortable.

I just did a BMW 1 series drive event today and drove all models with all the seats. Get the sports seats!!! I think they are much better and I heard several other comment on that. Also get the M package with the M steering wheel...it rocks!
