Since the glacier alum trim is not available on the 128 (except as part of a 3K option package) what are the chances I can get it separately? The trim should just pop off if it's like my sisters 328i.

I am sure its possible to order the trim. When a car gets in an accident where do you think the parts come from.

Yeah, you can order the trim parts. Check out realoem.com. Hopefully its easy to remove them because I'm planning on replacing the glacier with brushed aluminum.
