Am I the only one , does anybody else have the same news? Pitty I have go to wait a month before I get it

Nope, It's all hush hush and kept under wraps. I know where the yard is, maybe I'll just quietly walk in one day and pretend I am a lost delivery driver.

Richard. Can you confirm if your car was a Feb or March build?

Last I heard from my broker, I had made the Feb build, but he has not provided me with any VIN / shipping details etc, despite my hassling.

I am starting to lose patience, but not much I can do except yell abuse at the moon!

If your dealer is telling you the truth, you should definitely have a VIN by now. Mine was a wk 13 build (end March) and my dealer was able to give me my VIN as soon as my car was built.

Once you have a VIN and your car is shipped, you will be able to track it's journey to Aus.

My VIN is WBAUC72050VF18445, Production week 8, Ready at plant 14/02/08 at Leipzig. You can use your VIN to track your car,mine arrived here in Brisbane last Thursday 10/04/08

My Le Mans blue should be there with it, I have been waiting since August so another month doesn't seem too far away.

Swift, Which Dealer is it, ring him and ask for your VIN. I bought mine from Motorline. My Salesman emailed me over a month ago with info on my VIN, name of ship and build date. Tell him to get off his bum and do his job! He may even forgot to order your car!

Richard, I have the VIN, I looked on the boat tracking and it arrived in Brisbane on the 10th. The number is closer to your VIN than the others; with just a couple of digits different.

No, but stock control gave me the VIN and said it would be ready for launch date. The boat VIN tracker says it is in Brisbane.

Ordered mine yesterday - 135i, Sparkling Graphite, Profesional Nav, PDC, Sunroof. I'm told there was a car of this spec which arrived in Australia on Friday and that car will be mine.

The dealer told me yesterday it would be available in 14 days which would be 17 May. What is the release date for the car, and what are my chances of driving it out of the showroom on the 17th?
