Fantastic results, kompey!
504 Nm = 371 lb/ft That's serious power at the wheels. Please post a sound clip of the exhaust, if you get a chance, please. I'm sure there are lots of us who would love to hear it. |

I can't see the pics as personal storage sites get blocked by the firewall where I work, but I'm assuming those must be flywheel figures?
Surely a filter, exhaust and remap couldn't stick 100lb/ft onto the wheel torque figures by themselves (depending on dyno used of course)? If this truly is the case, then sign me for some time in the workshop as soon as my 1er arrives! |

yes,the power is at flywheel:wink:
Thid dyno is very restrictive,a tuned new M6 give also 450cv at flywheel:biggrin::biggrin:,but I think that is better 360 real hp instead 380-390 false hp:wink: |

Totally agree. At the end of the day, it's all down to how the car feels when you have it out on the road or track, not some numbers flashing up on a screen.
As a incidental note, as we're looking at mods and power etc., there was a fuel test done by a tuner over here, over the course of several months and thousands of dyno miles. Between using standard 95 RON pump supermarket fuel and the 99 RON fuel I mentioned in another thread (also from a supermarket forecourt), there was an increase of over 10% in power when they tested an M3 CSL (40bhp at the wheels). That's a pretty good "mod" for an equivalent $0.10 a litre! |

Totally agree.
I prefer to work with torque curve instead that work only to have max number of hp. Whit an hight and linear torque curve, with "only" 360-400 hp I think that can be very effective and fast on road or track:wink: 99 ron is the same than Italy or in italy 99ron is less than yours? |
