We're going with the Turner bushings

They are aluminum and delrin

So what do you need to do first? Drop the rear Sub-Frame. Which means drop the rear everything.

It's not often we have the whole back end of the rear drivetrain on the garage floor.

Now to remove the old bushings. You'll need a bushing removal/install kit. HP Autowerks rents one.

Putting the bushing catcher underneath, the long bolt thru with the pushing and stopping washers and go at it with the impact gun. It takes a while and it vibrates like crazy.

Old Bushings out.

Now install the new ones. Be sure to have the flatter sides of the aluminum part aligned right with the rear subframe (perpendicular to the travel direction of the car). Delrin from up top, Aluminum from the bottom, bolt thru with the squeeze washers and hit with imapct gun.

Now to figure out how to get the rear subframe back in.

We pulled it off and made it to Cal Speedway this past weekend. The car continues to get faster as we now chase IP cars. We even got a couple of rain sessions on Sunday as a desert rain storm caught us all by surprise.

What you can't really see well from that angle is how we had to cut away some of the supplied fins on the bottom of the diff cover to allow the exhaust to get by.

Saw the car at Barber Motorsports Park yesterday. Looked great, qualified 1st and pulled away from the field from the green flag.
Needs a louder exhaust though, so quiet compared to the other cars on track.

Thanks, glad you could catch the show Ralph put on. Sorry about the lack of sound - maybe we'll get a new, lighter exhaust next season.

Hehe, those wheels are a little fancy for my taste, but overall the trailer has been really great. Here it was at Infineon

Once we get it all laid out the way we want it, I'll take some, but we won't be in travel for a race mode for a few months. We got it just in time for the end of the season.
