Speed-Dependent Volume?

I have the standard radio and the speed-dependent volume doesn't seem to boost the volume as the car's speed increases. I've tried turning the speed-volume setting to max - still nothing. At first, I thought perhaps this function doesn't work with an iPOD. So, I tried the radio. Still nothing.

Any suggestions? Anyone else having problems?

Rick, I thought it was just me! I have not pushed it to max yet, but will do so this weekend and see if I notice a difference. I am just over the center position, and do not hear any difference in the volume, and end up increasing it myself.:iono:

I'll have to check my settings, buy my volume does go up with speed. I have the premium stereo....

I wonder if maybe the std radio does not actually have SpdVol even tho it has settings for it???

Perhaps not. Although the function is described in the audio manual and the settings are there.

I have noticed a difference with the windows down. I also have the standard stereo. Maybe I am crazy :P
