MY CA said "...once it hit the VPP... "

1) What is VPP? VPC, probable verbal mistep
2) Can we take a BMW VPC tour in Oxnard anytime? not sure what the rules are out in cali, but in sc, tours can be arranged with relative ease.

Hey dbtheo,

I recently provided a referral to my CA... the guy ordered a 1 series. Do you think it would be too much to ask free floor mats for the referral? Are there other things you suggest I ask for? =) Love me some freebies for bringing in a customer

Why, is it bad to ask for free floormats for the heck of it? :iono:

If my 128i convertible is built next week (week 29) as my CA says/hopes it will be when would you expect it to arrive at Classic in Dallas?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
Dealer price is $155 per side for the chrome. Shadowline is ~$20 more. I have no idea how much mark-up is, but I can guarantee it's not $1700.

Can I ask where you got this $310 quote from? If this is true, I'd like to order it. Can you get me a part number please?

I've ordered my car and now I'm waiting the long wait. I ordered the car like around June 18th, now its July 10th and the website still says something about a 330ci. Alright w/e, so rescently I decided I want to get power seats, so I ask if I can still change that, and she says no the configuration has already been uploaded and the car should start production any day now. This was about a week ago, and I still see some random bullshit about a 330ci.

So idk what to think, I can't think of any reason why she'd lie to me about it being too late to add the power seat option. So I'm thinking theres somethign else going on. What do you think?

it doesn't say anything abotu a 135 when i put in the tracking numbr if thats what you mean by specs, when i put the tracking number the website came up with something abotu a 2005 330ci. From my understanding that just means the car hasn't started being built yet.

if you mean what options i got..
135i coupe
Jet Black
Taupe Leatherette
High Gloss Black Trim
Sports Package
Ipod
Premium Hi-Fi Sound

so in answer to your question, you can't modify it, it's already been built & is waiting shipment. That said if you are still having trouble tracking it, use the partial vin above. Also talk to your ca, make sure everything is cool, & that is in fact your car thats coming

How do you handle people not taking delivery of their cars? I am considering ordering a MY2009 with all the upgrades, and my car just got off the boat but is a week or so away. Do you guys penalize buyers typically?

Really, as long as you actually buy a car, it's not a huge deal, unless the car you ordered was fairly odd or unique. They shouldn't penalize you, but there is realistic possibillity depending on alloctions allotted for 09' the car could cost a bit more. Not saying it will, but you should be prepared.

2009 Production Changeover

When does the factory actually change over to 2009 135i coupe production? I've read mid-August and heard July 23 and September. What's the actual date?
Thanks
