Just ordered my second set of GP thunders. My first set, which I ordered in august, have burnt out. Is this the actual life of these? I figured they would've lasted longer. Also ordered a set of silver etch amber gones (not cf). Hope they will look good. How do they fair in bad weather (ie-snow, rain, salt, mud)? Also, since I ordered the 2 together, will I be able to get free shipping for both since there is free shipping on the amber gones? Just call it a christmas gift *wink* I'll try and take pics of the amber gones for you to use on your site guys.

That is just a defect I can assure you guys, we've had this on our E92 for over a year now and couldn't be happier with just a bulb replacement!

I've received the bulbs already. The amber gones were not with them. Are they shipped seperately? Who do I contact to have this resolved?

James,
I just placed my order and am looking forward to getting them. I wanted to point out a few things though. First, it'd be really helpful if you'd edit the first post of this thread, and/or your website, to indicate that you only need one pair of H8's to do both pairs of angel eyes. I had to dig through this thread to determine that. Second, the shipping on your website is odd. It'd be nicer if you set the price based on what the user selects. Also, at no time did it actually add that shipping price into my order. Oh, and the link in your first post to the installation instructions is broke. Anybody know where that is now? That'd be some handy information also. |

Well I got my sets of H3 and H8 bulbs today. Install is straightforward, although a pain. Removing the headlight covers, and reinstalling them, takes manipulating them at exactly the right angles and applying a wee bit of force at times. That goes for the turning light covers too. Everything in there is a tight fit. In all it took me about forty-five minutes. And now that I know what to do, I reckon it'd take me only forty minutes to do it again. It's worth it though.
Also, as much trouble as it can be, it's not one of those types of jobs where I felt as though if I moved wrong I was going to break anything. All the plastic parts are heavy duty, and all the wires and other parts have decent clearance. And if you're lucky and happen to manipulate things just right, it could be real easy. In all fairness the only mod I've done so far that was as easy as people claimed was the center cap replacement. Grills, DDV, intake, grocery bag holder, euro light switch, all these took me longer than most people claim to do it in. Perhaps it's just me or maybe I'm one of the few that is honest about it. |

well I found 3000k on an e46, I'd like a better pic tho but I think either it's cool looking or not worth it vs stock, I wish there was a pic with the headlights on... http://www.crossroadforums.com/galle...1/DSCF8341.jpg
