Keeping the Original rims?

Has anyone thought about changing rims then decided against it? I know they aren't light, but they are SO easy to clean that I am willing to live with the weight. With all the brake dust BMWs throw, I really apreciate the ease of maintenance. Now when I look at a rim I want, I just see how much a pain in the ass they would be to keep clean.

How do you like the new tires Gill? Do they rub anywhere?

Love them. Very happy with the choice.

No rubbing, plenty of room.

Good deal, they are reasonably priced, so I will go this route or something similar when my run-flats wear out, hopefully I get them all to last the same amount of time.

I love the 264's. I was SO GLAD when I first saw the 135i with great looking 18" wheels. And very easy to clean. Sure they aren't light, but you already know how fast it is with them, and it handles great. If you want better handling get H&R street coilovers and sway bars. I just read a test in Eurotuner and they loved the H&R street coilovers. Looked super hot also. They kept the 264's on the car because of limited choices.

I'm eventually going to powder coat the OEM's JB and go from there.

Definitely powder-coating the stockers black and throwing Blizzaks on them as they'll serve as my winter rims. What in the hell I'll do with 4 craptastic RF tires with 5000 miles on them in November I haven't yet figured out.
